中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会（“贸仲”）主办的第十届“唐厚志大讲堂（TANG Lecture）”将于2026年9月17日下午16时30分在北京国贸大酒店B1中国宴会厅（北京市朝阳区建国门外大街一号）举行。

The 10th TANG Lecture organized by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) will be held at 16:30 on 17th September 2026 at the B1 China Ballroom, China World Summit Wing, Beijing (No.1 Jianguomenwai Avenue, Chaoyang District, Beijing).

“唐厚志大讲堂”以中国仲裁事业的重要奠基人和开拓者唐厚志先生的名字命名，旨在弘扬仲裁理念、促进国际仲裁文化交流、推动国际仲裁发展。唐厚志先生一生致力于促进中国仲裁的国际化发展，积极推动中国加入《承认及执行外国仲裁裁决公约》（即《纽约公约》），大力倡导仲裁与调解相结合的东方经验，向国际社会广泛宣传中国仲裁，参与中国《仲裁法》的制定，为中国仲裁法律体系的建立和完善发挥了重要作用，其为中国仲裁和国际仲裁做出的贡献始终激励着中外仲裁人。

The TANG Lecture, named after Mr. Tang Houzhi, the prominent founder and pioneer of China’s arbitration cause, aims to publicize the concept of arbitration, promote cultural exchanges in international arbitration community and encourage the development of international arbitration. Mr. Tang Houzhi has devoted his life to enhancing the internationalization of arbitration in China, actively promoting China’s accession to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the New York Convention), advocating the oriental experience of combining arbitration and mediation, and widely publicizing China’s arbitration to the international community. He has also taken  part in the formulation of China’s Arbitration Law. Mr. Tang Houzhi played an important role in the establishment and improvement of the legal system of arbitration in China and his contributions to domestic and international arbitration have always inspired the practitioners from home and abroad.

值新修订《中华人民共和国仲裁法》正式施行元年、贸仲成立70周年之际，本届“唐厚志大讲堂”将以“中国仲裁七十年”为主题，从历史沿革、制度演进、实践发展与国际对话多维视角，全面回望总结中国仲裁砥砺前行的发展历程和宝贵经验，共探新时代中国仲裁专业化、国际化发展方向。贸仲副主任兼秘书长龙传红先生将进行致辞；贸仲仲裁员、联亚仲裁员协会仲裁员、香港仲裁师协会会员艾笔洋博士，贸仲和新加坡国际仲裁中心仲裁员、英国皇家特许仲裁员协会会士、新加坡国际调解中心特使及（中国）专家调解员许廷芳先生，贸仲副主任、仲裁员、全国人民代表大会常务委员会法制工作委员会民法室原主任贾东明先生，贸仲仲裁员、法国巴黎上诉法院律师、美国乔治城大学兼职教授、最高人民法院国际商事专家委员会委员陶景洲先生，贸仲仲裁员、新加坡国际商事法庭国际法官、卡塔尔国际法院及争端解决中心国际法官张勇健先生担任专题讨论嘉宾；贸仲仲裁员、北京市中伦律师事务所合伙人、新加坡国际仲裁中心董事曹丽军先生担任专题讨论环节主持人。

On the occasion of the inaugural year of the newly revised Arbitration Law of the People's Republic of China and the 70th anniversary of CIETAC, this year's "TANG Lecture" will be themed "70 years of Arbitration in China." From the multidimensional perspectives of historical evolution, institutional development, practical progress, and international dialogue, the TANG Lecture will comprehensively review and summarize the journey of China's arbitration over the past seventy years, drawing upon its valuable experience, and will explore the direction for the professionalization and internationalization of China's arbitration in the new era. Mr. Long Chuanhong, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CIETAC, will address the TANG Lecture. The panel discussion will feature the following guest speakers: Dr. Bjoern Etgen, Arbitrator of CIETAC, International Arbitrator at NEXUS Arbitrator Chambers, and Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators； Mr. Hee Theng Fong, Arbitrator of CIETAC and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Specialist Mediator (China) and Ambassador for the Singapore International Mediation Centre; Mr. Jia Dongming, Vice Chairman and Arbitrator of CIETAC, and Former Director of the Civil Law Department of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress; Mr. Tao Jingzhou, Arbitrator of CIETAC, Lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal, France, Adjunct Professor of Georgetown University, and Member of the International Commercial Expert Committee of the Supreme People's Court of China; and Mr. Zhang Yongjian, Arbitrator of CIETAC, International Judge of the Singapore International Commercial Court and the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre. Mr. Cao Lijun, Arbitrator of CIETAC, Partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm, and Member of the Board of Directors of SIAC, will serve as the moderator of the panel discussion.
