Against the backdrop of significant geopolitical shifts, this panel willcanvas recent Chinese and American regulatory changes in the areaof Al, digital assets and critical technology, and in doing so, examinethe emerging legal issues faced by Chinese technology companieslooking toexpand internationally,and American technologycompanies looking toinvest in or do business with Chinesecounterparts. The panel will explore ways to effectively mitigate andresolve related dispute risks at the contract drafting, investmentstructuring and dispute phases, as well as highlight the uniquehurdles encountered in arbitrating disputes involving Al, digitalassets, and critical technology. The panel will additionally provide anoverview of emerging technology case trends observed and recenttechnological innovations implemented by arbitral institutions thatunderline why arbitration can serve as an effective, neutral, andefficient means to resolve complex technology disputes.
