联合国国际贸易法委员会于2010年邀请两位专家—Emmanuel Gaillard教授和George Bermann教授—协助编写《关于<承认及执行外国仲裁裁决公约>（1958年，纽约）的指南》。

In 2010, UNCITRAL requested the assistance of two experts, Professor Emmanuel Gaillard and Professor George Bermann, to prepare a Guide on the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, 1958 (New York).

该《指南》于2016年7月呈交联合国国际贸易法委员会，旨在促进对纽约公约统一有效的解释和适用，减少东道国实务操作偏离公约精神的风险。该《指南》由一个免费的在线平台 (newyorkconvention1958.org) 补充，其中包括多个普通法和大陆法司法辖区执行纽约公约作出的1200多项判决。

The Guide, which was presented to the Commission in July 2016, aims to promote the uniform and effective interpretation and application of the Convention with a view to limit the risk that State practice diverge from its spirit.  The Guide is supplemented by a freely accessible online platform – newyorkconvention1958.org  – which includes over 1200 decisions from multiple common law and civil law jurisdictions implementing the Convention.
